This anisotropicplus video covers our recent trip to The National Audubon Society’s Francis Beidler Forest located in Four Holes Swamp, SC. It contains within its 17,500 acres, the largest remaining stand of virgin Bald cypress and Tupelo Gum swamp forest left anywhere in the world. The water level was higher than normal due to Hurricane Idalia. There is a very nice visitor center and a 1.75 mile boardwalk through the swamp. It was so beautiful and interesting that I videoed nearly the entire boardwalk. We ran into three surprises that definitely got our attention. You will have to watch the entire video to see all three. If you like nature you will enjoy this video. Youtube: Cottonmouth vs Water snake.
