In this anisotropicplus video I try using my 4000 psi Northstar pressure washer to cut through roots on the stump from a 3.5 ft. diameter oak tree. I was able to do it, but as you will see in the video the roots can be massive. I was also able to use it to cut the top out of a 2.5″ diameter poplar tree. The nice thing about the pressure washer is you don’t have to worry about dulling your chainsaw on dirt and rocks.
