This anisotropicplus video shows how you can very easily estimate the area of a pasture or another area at essentially no cost and do it using your mobile device or desktop computer. The easiest no cost way is to use Google Earth Pro which is now free for downloading to your desktop computer or Google Earth for a tablet or other mobile device. This is very easy to do and I have added some additional verification by using it to measure the area of our ground mount solar panels and a manually measured large triangle in the pasture. You can use this technique for measuring the area of any place on Earth. This video was originally uploaded on 4/24. This is an edited update.
