This anisotropicplus video shows my simple solution to creating a whip cracking machine capable of consistent and repeatable whip cracks. The purpose of this device is to facilitate future experimentation with different cracker designs. The chain whip is not subject to effects of humidity, leather and other variables so any observable difference in cracker design should be due to the cracker itself. Future videos will focus on the cracker itself.
